Professor Linley Lord is the Pro Vice-Chancellor and President of Curtin Singapore with overall responsibility for the academic integrity of the campus programs. Professor Lord had considerable experience as a change agent through appointments such as Project Officer for Equal Employment Opportunity in Local Government (WA); the first Equal Opportunity Co-ordinator for the West Australian Fire Brigades Board (now FESA); Equal Opportunity Manager for the Reserve Bank of Australia and Equity and Diversity Manager and Director of the Women in Leadership Project at Edith Cowan University. Over 15 years technical experience gained in research and teaching laboratories in areas including soil research, cancer research, physiology and anatomy teaching.
Professor Jill Downie is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Education of Curtin University. ?In her role as DVC, Education, Professor Downie is responsible for the quality assurance processes of teaching and learning across the University: Curtin University Teaching and Learning which includes teaching and learning, assessment, Curtin University on-line, Open Universities Australia, course quality, awards and grants, professional development, learning technologies; Student Central; Student Support Services which include Counselling, Recreation and Health Services; Ethics Equity and Social Justice; the Library; and the Centre for Aboriginal Studies.
Associate Professor Lim Swee Hia is the President of Singapore Nurses Association’s Executive Council. She was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Science from Curtin University in recognition for her exceptional achievements and contributions in Singapore and serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the universities’ School of Nursing & Midwifery.
